Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters

Temeraire

One word: DRAGONS.

All right, there's more to the Temeraire books than just dragons. There's . . . well, okay, mostly it's dragons. Naomi Novik is a good writer and I like the historical background (Napoleonic Wars - but with DRAGONS), and her human characters are quite compelling as well . . . but really, the books' attraction for me is mostly that I feel the world would be a better place if we had dragons. And that's exactly what they give me!

I don't really have a ship in this fandom, though if I have to pick anything, it's Jane/Laurence. Because Jane rocks and Laurence makes me want to huggle him and they are an odd but interesting couple. It's canon, yes, but in this case canon rules.

These are listed in the order I posted them, newest stuff first.
